I would also love to see Weis and Hickman's Death Gate Cycle as a miniseries. While the prose is maybe not as good as some other things, I love the plot structure and world building, and I think it would lend itself to a TV adaptation.

That would be cool. Oh, or the events of the Simarillion. (Sorry for the misspelling.)

    Raymond E. Feist!

Magician! The Riftwar Saga. Would make a great movie if done right. Also, Dan Simmons Hyperion Cantos, but it would take a really skilled director, maybe Ridley Scott on top form. Lastly, Fevre Dream by George R. R Martin- it's got proper vampires that don't sparkle in it!

I would very much like to see a Rendezvous with Rama film. It would not be action-packed ,however.

I want to see a movie version of John Scalzi's Agent to the Stars. It's a minor novel, but it would make a fun movie.

My worldview allows for Harrison Ford-starring SF movies that aren't hyperactive family-fun romps in space. Case in point: Blade Runner.

Also, say what you will about Cowboys & Aliens, Ford was very, very good in it. Not as good as here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWTtMdXAazs on Jimmy Kimmel... but still good.

Colonel Graff doesn't do all that much. What he has to have is presence, which Harrison Ford can do.

Besides that, count up the years on your fingers. Harrison Ford isn't really an action hero kind of guy anymore.
