Bug Report Thread
We'll be using this thread as a catch-all report thread for any bugs, broken links, or functionality issues stemming from the swanky Tor.com redesign. If you discover a bug, let us know the following things:
- What operating system you're using (& version #)
- What browser you're using (& version #)
Providing a screenshot of the issue also helps. Thanks!
Is this also where we list our feature requests?
I would love to be able to track individual threads on the forum using rss. This could be implemented as each thread having its own rss feed or my user profile could have an rss feed that I would add and remove threads from.
The top section is a mess for me in Windows XP (Home Edition 5.1.2600 SP3 Build 2600) using Firefox 3.6.15, although it looks like I assume it should using Internet Explorer (Version 8.0.6001.18702). I've uploaded screencaps at http://www.flickr.com/photos/witt_je...901889/detail/ for both Firefox and IE for the sake of comparison, starting from the top and scrolling down one page at a time.
I get an Internal Server Error when trying to use the Gallery tab from the forum page. It seems to work from other pages.
Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Firefox version 3.6.13
I've gotten this:
Fatal error: Class 'JTor' not found in /www/sites/www.tor.com/files/html/templates/tor/html/mod_shoutbox/default.php on line 131
a couple of times. Refreshing seems to make it go away.
Sorry, forgot my info.

Nice job on the site.
Another small note: I see it’s fixed for posts with images but still an issue for posts with video (try sharing the spacebook post)

Some of my viewers fell into the warp…
Not really a bug but I noticed some of the view counts for posts I’m tracking dropped. I think the Tholians had something to do with it.
Timestamps for forum posts difficult to read…
Timestamps for forum posts (other than the first) are white text against a very light teal or gray … checked on an LCD and CRT, very difficult to read either way

Hi TorChris! While I love the schnazzy new look of the site, I was poking around in my profile settings and discovered I not only no longer have an avatar, but I can’t upload it, either. I only have the option “do not use an avatar”-- and, um, this might sound vain, but I LOVED my old avatar! (Boo: I'd add a screenshot, but it's I'm being told it's an "invalid file.") Help me, pretty please--much love and thanks for all the hard work behind the scenes! Cheers.
