Hi, everyone. My creator-owned series Vic Boone kicks off in June from 215 Ink. Available for preorder in April Previews catalog or online from any number of comic shops. I'm hoping to generate some buzz for the book in April to create some preorders of the first issue, since books of this level tend to live and die by preorders.

I'm also looking for any and all suggestions for blogs/sites/whatever that might offer a review of the book. Suggestions?

The series is a mix of b-movie sci-fi and pulp detective novels.

Below is a little preview. If you like what you see don't be afraid to tell your shop to order you a copy. And remember sharing is caring, so maybe order one for a friend, too.

    Vic Boone #1
    (W) Shawn Aldridge (A) Geoffo (C) David Lloyd Former motorcycle dardevil, Vic Boone is hired to clear a woman's name after she's blamed for a series of grisly murders. To find the real killer, he'll have to beat robot thugs, get help from a human fly, and escape the all powerful (not really) Raygun Radicals.

Upcoming Author Hannah Faye Looking 4 Reviewers of NEW SCI-FI "THE MEZE"

I am an upcoming author and fictional biographer from Chicago, Illinois looking for reviewers for my newest sci-fi fiction novel entitled "THE MEZE."

The MEZE is a story that takes place in the year 3046. Scientist, Dr. Zenith Karingo has just devised a plan for Americans to be able to survive the destruction of the U.S. by designing weapons that resemble humans. These human-like weapons called MEZE, can also hold reproductive material for the preservation of the human race. Later his daughter, picks up where he left off and designs a similar machine that must now save humans from the destruction of the Earth. Will she succeed in her goals? How will the President of the World effect her plans?

This book is available on lulu.com and amazon.com. Contact me through www.arapperscollege.weebly.com and I will send you a copy free in exchange for your honest review!

    Sincerely,
    Hannah Faye

You know, there is a "pimp your own book" thread…

EDIT: Also, the term "fiction novel" is redundant. All novels are fiction.

    Smile Foreshadows

    I'm generally a reluctant self-promoter, but since there's a thread for this...

I'm finishing editing (and writing for) a cyberpunkish, sci-fi anthology...

Foreshadows: The Ghosts of Zero. Sure, there're are a lot of sci-fi anthologies out there, but how many feature fantasy novelist Ed Greenwood, cover art by Michael Komarck, interior art by Talon Dunning, and come with a CD of diverse music, with each piece of music specifically tied to one of the stories as its own personal soundtrack?

We're crazy excited about getting this thing out there. It's been in the works for a while and are aiming for a release in just a few months. There's a lot more info about this, and previews galore, on our website, foreshadows.net.

    JLaSala,
Love the cover. (Wearing my Tor Art Director hat.) That's a Komark? Cool. I love his fantasy work, great to see him on a science fiction book.

    Damsel by S.E. Connolly

Not technically my book, but I see that although the children's book my sister wrote has so far only been published in Ireland, there are some copies available through Amazon.com

"When Annie Brave's famous hero father goes missing, presumed eaten, she takes his manuscript "How to slay dragons - and other advice for the hero in training" and sets off to get him back--but can a damsel ever do the rescuing?"

By all means, Irene, wear your Tor Art Director hat. And yep, that's Komarck! He took only a little bit of arm-twisting to get on board the project, but it helped that I knew him from his work on my first novel's cover for WotC.
